The MBT Shuguli shoes are very good looking black leather dress shoes that go with my suits or uniform work attire. These are very comfortable and really do help ease foot, knee and back pain from being on your feet all day. I had been wearing Clarks black leather lace shoes that were good, but the MBTs are better. They are expensive, but MBT does what they claim and are well worth the price. I have now switched to MBT Safiri tennis shoes from my old Nike Airs for walking and weekends. I am sold on the MBT technology. It has really helped my knee and back problems a lo

I've only had mine for a day. So far, these are very comfortable shoes that are just plain fun. They are very stable side-to-side -- this is a big issue for me, because I have a weak ancle that sprains easily with sideways motion. They fit orthodics. The cut is a bit narrow across the bridge of the foot, and only comes in a medium width. These shoes are great for walking on hard, flat, dry surfaces, and let's face it, most surfaces you walk on fall into this category. This is what the shoes are designed for, and 99% of my walking fits into this category!
My impression after 1-day is that outside this zone (hard, flat, dry surface), these shoes won't work as well as a flat bottomed shoe. I avoid rough surfaces, slants, sand, dirt trails, rain, and ice; but my impression is that these shoes would not work as well there as a standard, flat-bottomed shoe. They are okay but not great on stairs.

After a month and a half, I adore these shoes! I am able to be on my feet for much longer, and I rarely feel ankle pain. The tight spots have loosened up (ah, the bennefits of leather shoes) and they feel very natural. I wear them every day, for most of the day.

These shoes not only feel like they were custom made for your feet, but they practically "cure" flat feet, make your lower legs feel awesome, and help your back because they make you have better posture. I totally recommend them.

I now have three pairs of MBT shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are the only shoes I wear, except when playing golf, they don't make golf shoes.

I have leg and back injuries an the pain associated with both. I've tried over 20 different brands of shoes over the past decade. Nothing compares to the MBT for pain relief. I can virtually walk all day pain-free in the MBT. The Shuguli GTX s the least-offensive MBT to the eye. It has a lower profile than the other MBT models and actually can be worn as a dress shoe. I bought the model in both black and brown. This is not the "best looking" shoe and it won't win any fashion awards, but it absolutely is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. This includes tennis shoes. This model also makes me approx. 1" taller!
As for the toning and weight loss the manufacturer alludes to - I've found the shoes help tone my legs and my weight has remained the same since wearing these and only these shoes. Perhaps a more scientific study would warrant the manufacturer's claims? It's difficult to notice any difference and I do question the MBT weight loss claim.
The one and only issue I have with this brand in general is less lateral support than other brands of shoes. It's easy to roll your foot to the left or the right in these shoes if you are not careful. Not a huge issue, however. Just something to note as you get used to walking on this shoe.
I rate this 5 out of 5 even with the lateral support issue. Highly recommend this to anyone with leg or back pain.
